| Would you love to spend a day this summer working and learning about horses? Bluechip would like to send local children to Horse Day Camp this July. The children (ages 8 and up) will learn basic horsemanship skills including tacking, grooming and riding during their one-day adventure. Located in the Blue Hills, the stable is a supervised resource allowing the children to gain experience and confidence amongst horses. Children will experience an introduction to horsemanship and the enjoyment of horses through a safe and structured environment. |

Horse Camp is a one day camp
running Monday through Friday, rain or shine.
Students will learn the basics of riding, grooming, tacking, mounting
& dismounting, feeding, handling, care, and farm life!
The camp day runs a schedule packed with fun! 9:30 - 11:00 ~ Morning Chores, Grooming and Tacking and Arena Lessons 11:00 - 11:30 ~ Un-Tacking, Horse Bathing, Snack 11:30 - 12:00 ~ Feeding, Watering, Mucking 12:00 - 1:00 ~ Lunch Time 1:00 - 2:00 ~ Riding 2:00 - 3:00 ~Horse Anatomy |

Bluechip Horse Camp will give children the ultimate equestrian experience. Going far beyond riding, campers leave with an incredible feel for what it is like to work with and around horses. Snack and lunch will be provided by Bluechip. Participants must wear sneakers or boots and have long pants or jeans for Trail Rides. Helmets will be provided by the Farm. We strongly recommend packing an extra set of clothes, a water bottle, and sunscreen. |
